This Cat6a 10G Ethernet cable with RJ45 connectors is recommended for connecting network components like printers, computers, copiers, routers, servers, modems, hubs and switches in high-density data centers and network closets. Because this Cat6a cable supports PoE, it can supply the power to operate compatible PoE devices, such as security cameras, VoIP telephones, point-of-sale kiosks and access control devices. This saves you the expense and effort of purchasing, connecting and installing individual power supplies for each device. It also helps you install PoE devices in areas far away from AC outlets, such as poles or ceilings. This Cat6a STP patch cord is more than 38% smaller in diameter than standard Cat6a cable. This increases airflow in tight spaces, which helps keep your equipment cool and properly functioning. It also cuts down on clutter in crowded racks and patch panels, and makes the cable easier to install around corners and through cable management panels. The N262-S03-BL shields disruptive EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio frequency interference) line noise that can disturb your electronics and inflict hardware damage or data loss. This EMI/RFI filtering also helps your connected components perform better and last longer. The RJ45 connectors’ snagless design protects the locking tabs from being damaged or broken off during installation. The ends are shielded to minimize near-end crosstalk (NEXT) levels. The cable has a blue PVC jacket, which is easy to identify quickly in a crowded patch panel or switch and helps prevent the cable from becoming accidentally disconnected. Manufactured from 28 AWG copper wire, the four-pair stranded cable is rated for speeds up to 10 Gbps.
