The Cat5e Kit connects Logitech Tap up to 40 meters away from the meeting room computer using category cabling.¦Unlike USB, Cat5e supplies both data and power over a single cable, and thus eliminates the need for a separate outlet at the table to run Tap. Cat5e cabling can also be cut and crimped to exact lengths, doing away with cable coils for clutter-free deployments of Tap.¦While 10 meters of cabling are included, any Cat5e or higher cabling can be used for runs of up to 40 meters. Additionally, the Cat5e Kit is compatible with a Logitech Tap Table Mount, Riser Mount, and Wall Mount, enabling convenient operation of Tap with smart cable routing.¦In all, the Cat5e Kit allows for the placement of Logitech Tap nearly anywhere while maintaining a clean meeting room appearance. |
